A comprehensive suite of equipment and experienced staff to run projects or to even train people in data collection is just another service we offer here at GBG Group.
Equipment Hire
Most of our equipment is available for hire when they are not needed for our projects. Contact your nearest office to speak to our staff about availability.
Please be aware that some equipment is stored in an interstate office and the time for it to be transported needs to be accounted for. If training on data collection is required, please speak to us about the various levels of training.
Equipment includes:
- Seismic - Geode and geophone arrays including MASW land streamer
- Marine - Magnetometer, Hydrophone arrays
- Magnetics - GEM Magnetometer / Gradiometer and borehole magnetometer
- Resistivity - Multiple machines for various sizes of resistivity soundings or tomography
- NDT - A selection of GPR antenna

We have a range of costs for staff depending on their experience and the type of work needed. Contact us whether you need staff to run a survey, assist with data collection or manage site work. All of our staff for hire have general inductions for WHS, First Aid certified, and a number of them have additional qualifications including:
- Rail industry
- 4WDing
- Confined spaces
- Elevated work platform / Boom hoist work platform
- Height safety (worker/supervisor)
- Asbestos removal
Geotechnical Engineering
Detailed mapping for construction, land development and risk assessments are essential for the engineering designs of tailings dams, residential developments, road design and other types of constructions.
